A serious accident between a fuel tanker and a Citiliner Coach bus has just happened on the N2 between uMtata and East London this Monday morning, 21 March 2022.
The fiery crash happened at Brakfontein on the N2.
According to a witness at the scene, the bus and tanker both caught fire with passengers still trapped inside.
“A lot of people have also suffered burn wounds, we need more ambulances,” the witness told SA Trucker.
The Citiliner Coach bus, operated by Eldo Coaches, was coming from the East London direction while the tanker was going the opposite direction.

It is known what caused the accident. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
