One person has been burned to death after his car collided head-on with a truck and caught fire on the N2 at Fairbreeze in KwaZulu-Natal.
Medi Response is currently on the scene of the fatal collision.
In a statement, Medi Response paramedics stated that they arrived at the scene to find both the truck and car well alight.
One person was entrapped in the wreckage of the light motor vehicle and could not be extricated due to the intensity of the flames, unfortunately succumbing to the fire.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was moved to a safe distance before the truck also became engulfed in flames.
Services are on scene and traffic is heavily affected.
