A truck driver sustained serious injuries after he lost control of his truck and collided into the back of another truck on the N3 at Alberton on Thursday morning.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst, said paramedics responded to the accident
at 08h20.
Herbst said the two articulated trucks collided in a head-into-tail fashion.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the first truck had sustained serious injuries, and was treated on scene by emergency care practitioners.

Once stabilised, the patient was transported to hospital for further care.
The driver of the truck that was rear-ended did not sustained any injuries.
