Eyewitnesses recounted that the two remaining boys fled with stolen Darling hair pieces, leaving a bag of hair pieces next to the deceased.

Captain Thakeng added, “A case of murder has been registered for further investigation, and we urge anyone with information about the truck driver’s whereabouts to contact Detective Sergeant Mosiuoa Keketsi.”

Ventersburg Truck Stop has been under seige for years as robbers frequently steal from unsuspecting truck drivers.

Drivers are afraid to confront them as it’s not known if they are armed.
