EThekwini Municipality has warned the public not to collect or consume dead fish that washed up at Isipingo beach lagoon.
This after hundreds of fish washed up at the Isipingo river mouth.
Videos shared on social media show a lot of dead fish floating in the water.
The public is cautioned against buying fish which may have been collected from there.

In the interest of public safety, the City has taken a decision to prohibit access to the affected water courses until repairs to the pump station are finalised.
