Truck crashes off bridge killing two

Johannesburg – Two men were killed when their truck crashed off the R114 bridge in Diepsloot, Johannesburg, and fell into a river on Monday morning, paramedics said.

The truck landed on its roof in the river, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

The driver and another man were trapped in the vehicle and died on the scene. The cause of the accident was being investigated.
