Reports from the Mozambique media and some crossboarder truckers suggest it is risky to drive around Gorongosa and Catandica areas.
It’s alleged that Renamo fighters were burning trucks along the Beira route to Mutare corridor from Wednesday.

The last reported incident was reported on Thursday late in the afternoon where it is alleged that at least five trucks were burnt to the ground. Reports say many of the burnt trucks they loot first and rob the truck crew and there have been reports of injuries on truck crews assaulted by the gangs.
