AKA has been shot dead in Durban. The award winning rapper AKA, real name, Kiernan Forbes was allegedly shot and killed on Florida road in Morningside outside Capellos late on Friday night.
IOL reporter, Se-Anne Rall also tweeted that the police in Durban confirmed that AKA has been shot dead. Another person was also shot and killed in the shooting.

Reports suggest that he was shot 6 times outside a nightlife venue.
It is believed that AKA was supposed to perform at his birthday party on Friday.
However, he was accosted by unknown gunmen who fatally him several times, in what appears to be a hit, outside a restaurant on Florida Road. The event has since been cancelled.
Da Les tweeted shortly after the news of the shooting broke. While another close and inconsolable friend of the rapper confirmed the news of the star’s death.
