The protest, reportedly organized by disgruntled minibus taxi operators, has left commuters stranded and frustrated, exacerbating an already congested road network.
The reason for the protest is not known yet.
With no movement in sight and tensions running high, authorities are urging motorists to steer clear of the N2 and seek alternative routes to minimize delays and alleviate congestion at the toll plaza.
