Mercedes-Benz Trucks has once again raised the bar in the ever-evolving landscape of the trucking industry, with the introduction of the new Actros L.

This updated iteration of their flagship model boasts a plethora of enhancements, promising not only improved fuel efficiency but also unparalleled comfort and safety features.

The Actros L boasts striking visual distinction, featuring a complete cab paintwork, sleek dark chrome badging, and illuminated LED lighting.

Drawing inspiration from the eActros 600, its design sets a new standard in aesthetic appeal.

At the heart of the Actros L lies the innovative ProCabin, a redesigned body that doesn’t just catch the eye but also slashes fuel consumption by up to 3% through superior aerodynamics.

Power and Performance

Accompanying this aerodynamic marvel is the third-generation 12.8-liter OM 471 diesel engine, equipped with two new turbochargers and a revised exhaust gas after-treatment system.

This powerhouse, available alongside the OM 470 and OM 473 engines, not only delivers impressive performance but also contributes to the Actros L’s exceptional fuel economy.

But it’s not just about comfort – safety is paramount.

Safety

The Actros L is equipped with state-of-the-art safety features, including the Active Brake Assist 6.0, capable of performing automated maximum full-stop braking to prevent collisions.

Additionally, the second-generation Active Sideguard Assist and the new Front Guard Assist system provide drivers with enhanced awareness and protection against potential hazards on the road.

Rainer Müller-Finkeldei, head of development at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, encapsulates the essence of the Actros L perfectly:

We always aim to provide our customers with the best vehicle solutions for all drive technologies…With the new Actros L, we have further optimized our tried and tested flagship in many aspects.

Indeed, the new Actros L with ProCabin is not just a truck – it’s a testament to Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ relentless pursuit of excellence.
