The M7 (Solomon Mahlangu Drive) is closed at the N2 interchange in Durban following a multiple-vehicle crash this Monday morning, October 23, 2023.
It is alleged that a side-tipper truck lost control while descending the slope after the Bellville off-ramp towards Rossburgh.
Subsequently, it collided with other vehicles that were stopped at a red traffic light.
At this moment, it is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash or whether there are any casualties.
Nevertheless, the M7 is entirely blocked by the overturned truck, which is obstructing the road.
