A serious crash involving 3 trucks and a car has just happened on the N3 eastbound just after the Peter Brown bridge leading to the closure of the highway.
According to an SA Trucker at the scene, a side tipper hit a small car before it collided into two other trucks then burst into flames.
The trucker said that, two trucks, the side tipper interlink and a tauliner caught fire after the crash.
The crash happened less than 100m from where another pile-up crash occurred killing 16 people who were passengers in a minibus taxi.
The cause of the latest crash is not known at the moment however authorities are on the scene.
