Watch: Robbery at fuel depot in Brakpan caught on CCTV

CCTV footage of a robbery at a fuel depot on Wirtpoort Road, Brakpan has emerged online.

The armed robbery happened on 27 March 2023 at 00h35 in the morning.

According to a source the robbers stole a white BMW and a fuel tanker trailer.

In the video, two gunwielding robbers can be seen approaching a man who is busy unloading a fuel tanker.

The man tries to run but he is blocked by the suspects and falls to the ground.

One suspect stays to guard him while the other one goes to the other side where he and another suspect brings another man.

They force march the two men going towards the back of the trailer before one decides to close off the fuel unloading valve before the video ends.

Another video footage from outside the premises show a white International 9800i reversing into the yard where it was allegedly used to haul the fuel tanker trailer.
