Six people have been killed in a crash between a taxi and a car on the N1, near Beaufort West on Monday morning.
Emergency Services spokesperson, Deanna February says the vehicles were travelling in the direction of Cape Town.
February did not elaborate how the vehicles collided.
She says two ambulances and a rescue vehicle are on scene. The province’s Forensic Pathology Services officials have been dispatched.

The road is closed and a stop and go system will be put in place by traffic officials later.
