In the wake of the serious truck crash that occurred on Tuesday morning along Kloof Nek Road in Cape Town’s CBD, CCTV footage showing the harrowing incident has surfaced on social media.
The footage reveals the truck losing control and overturning, narrowly avoiding colliding with passing cars.
However, prior to its appearance on the CCTV footage, the truck had already collided with several cars, resulting in injuries to four individuals.
Eyewitnesses reported that it appears the truck lost its brakes.

According to the City of Cape Town, the truck driver sustained moderate injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital along with four other patients.
