Three men have been killed in a horrific crash on the M4 Southern Freeway near the Clairwood offramp, south of Durban.
It is believed that the three men were on the side of the road trying to change their car tyre when a truck rammed into their vehicle killing all of them on the spot.
The accident reportedly happened just after 05:00 on Monday, 13 June.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services, reportedly arrived on scene to find total carnage, as it’s alleged that the vehicle had broken down after suffering a flat tyre.
Whilst the three men were busy trying to change the tyre, a truck collided into them. All men, believed to be in their 30s, sustained major injuries.
“Unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do for them. They were declared deceased at the scene.
“The truck driver was uninjured in the collision. At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown, however, SAPS are in attendance and will be investigating further”
