Two people have died while fifteen others sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious when a truck collided with a taxi in Port Shepstone, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast on Monday morning.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of the collision on the N2 near the Old St Faith’s Road offramp just after midday.
Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a truck were involved in a collision injuring fifteen and killing two.
“Medics treated the patients and once stabilised were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment,” said Shwan Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson.
