One person was killed in an accident between a bus and a Toyota Hilux bakkie on N1 north just after Polokwane, Limpopo on Wednesday afternoon.
It is alleged that the Toyota Hilux lost control and crashed head-on with an oncoming MAN bus.
Limpopo Traffic authorities confirmed that only the bakkie driver died in the collision.
The driver of the bus and one passenger sustained serious injuries and 11 other passengers sustained moderate injuries.
The bus was travelling from Elim to Johannesburg.
