m7/n2 interchange truck accident

Durban – Five people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious when two trucks and two cars were involved in a pile-up crash on the M7, below the N2 bridge in Durban.

RED Line Response paramedics responded to reports of the serious multi-vehicle collision at around 12h05.

Two trucks and two vehicles were involved in the accident.

Garrith Jamieson of Red Line Response said paramedics are assessed and treated five patients on the scene before transferring them to hospital.

Traffic was heavily affected as the M7 eastbound lanes were all blocked by the accident.
