The N1 highway is closed between Vlakfontein and Grasmere following a horrific pile-up accident involving about 8 vehicles.
An SA Trucker who arrived at the scene immediately after the accident happened said the highway was closed on both directions.
In a video of the scene, sent to SA Trucker, several damaged cars can be seen strewn all over the road. At least two trucks and six other vehicles were involved in the crash.
One person can be heard in the video saying no one died in the crash but this could not be immediately confirmed.
