A purported member of the ATDF-ASA learned a costly lesson that blocking a heavy duty articulated truck with a Mercedes Benz AMG is an exercise in futility.
The incident happened on Sunday 30 April during the truck drivers strike in the country.
But, the truck driver easily brushed aside the Red Mercedes Benz AMG like a flimsy sheet of paper, much to the alleged member’s chagrin.
The resulting damages left a huge bill, which the insurance company is likely to reject if he files a claim after watching the video doing rounds on social media.

The video begins with the Mercedes Benz parked directly in front of the truck, completely blocking its path.
The car driver confronts the trucker, and the two exchange words because the trucker apparently refused to block the road with his vehicle.
The Mercedes Benz driver returns to his car and drives away, allowing the trucker to move forward.
However, the Mercedes Benz then blocks the truck again.
The fed-up truck driver decides he has had enough and drives onto the pavement to avoid the car.
The overzealous car driver makes his last effort towards a task that ultimately proves to be unachievable gets himself heavily bruised.
His Mercedes Benz suffers significant damage on the right-hand side as it unsuccessfully tries it’s impossible mission to stop the mighty truck.
