Eleven people have been killed in a horrific crash between an articulated truck and a minibus taxi on the N1 route between Winburg and Verkeerdevlei plaza on Monday morning.
The two vehicles collided head-on killing 11 people on the spot. It’s reported that all the deceased were in the taxi.
Upon colliding, the truck left the road and landed in a nearby farm.
