The N3 freeway was closed for about five hours on Saturday mnorning following a horrific multiple vehicle crash that left seven people dead.
According to the N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), the crash happened in the early hours of the morning.
A total of eight vehicles were involved in the accident, including three taxis, one truck, and four light motor vehicles.
ENCA reported that seven people died in the horror collision.

By 07:25, there was a significant update from Thania Dhoogra, the Operations Manager at N3TC.
In a statement, Dhoogra announced that all lanes had been reopened to traffic. While expressing relief at the resumption of movement, she emphasized the ongoing challenges faced by road users.
“N3TC expresses gratitude for the patience of road users and acknowledges the swift response of the Road Incident Management System (RIMS). Traffic is moving, but slow-moving traffic, congestion, and possible delays are expected,” Dhoogra stated.
