Update: 15 confirmed dead in Pretoria bus crash, 30 injured

The death toll in the bus and truck head-on collision in Pretoria has risen to 15 from the 11 earlier reported by SA Trucker.

The bus collided with the truck on the M17 Hornsnek Road near Bundu Inn in Pretoria killing 15 people on the scene and injuring 30 others. Three of the injured are reported to be in a very critical condition.

Tshwane Emergency Services spokesperson Charles Mabaso confirmed that 15 people have been killed and more than 30 were injured.

Mabaso said the bus and truck collided head-on at around 05:00 on Friday.

He said some of the patients were declared dead on the scene.
